DEMONSTRATING THE SEVENFOLD POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

INTRODUCTION

The power of the Holy Spirit is the ability to force elements of nature to align with God’s pattern, design and order, as set in His mind on earth, by overruling all manner of unbelief and opposition.

We need to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit in order to enforce the will of God on earth in the face of resistance from satan and his regiment. Kingdoms are not given on a silver platter, but are conquered in battle.

The demonstration of power is not an end in itself, but a means to the end of demonstrating the mind of Christ. It is the only way by which the mind of Christ can be established and find space for expression on earth ahead of the enemy’s counter-culture.

Sadly, many denominations are unaware of this reality, so they stress the demonstration of power and ignore the mind of Christ. This has resulted in great abuse of the power of the Holy Spirit which brings reproach to God and His church.

Some have wondered off the faith seeking strange power from the kingdom of darkness. They exalt themselves and/or their anointed material mediums ahead of the lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, trappings God’s people to sin in idolatry, for which sin they will reap their due penalty.

There are seven Greek words in the New Testament scriptures which are used to describe the sevenfold power of God namely; ‘archi, energia, kratos, dunamis, didomi, megalitus and isychous.’

These seven words point us to the seven elements of power which form the Believer’s Empowerment SUPPORT Template (BEST) ™ namely;

Stimulating
Umph
Potency
Pivot
Openhandedness
Resourcefulness
Touchiness

1. Stimulating – Multi-lifting Power

The English word for ‘stimulating’ power comes from the Greek ‘megalithus’ which is a compound of ‘mega’ and ‘lithus.’ The term "megalithus" or "megalithos" is derived from the Greek words "megas," meaning "great" or "large," and "lithos," meaning "stone."

The term was coined in the 19th century and is used to describe large, prehistoric stone structures or monuments that were constructed by ancient civilizations. Megaliths are typically made up of one or more large stones, such as standing stones (or menhirs), stone circles, dolmens, or cromlechs.

Believers are living stones being built into a spiritual megalith (house or temple), and can only experience the megalithus power in unity.

1 Peter 2:5 (NET) says, "You yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

‘Megalithus’ is the divine exceeding power beyond description which bears many burdens majestically as a crane lifting elevator, by which kingdom institutions are built and established; and it is activated when brethren (believers) come together in unity as they serve the Lord.

Psa 133:1-3 (DRB) says, “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity: Like the precious ointment on the head, that ran down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, Which ran down to the skirt of his garment: As the dew of Hermon, which descendeth upon mount Sion. For there the Lord hath commanded blessing, and life for evermore.”

The corporate lifting power flows from the Head and High Priest of the Church who is Jesus, as Aaron was to the Old Israel; through the leadership of the church represented by the beard of Aaron; to the new member of the church represented by the hem of Aaron’s garment.

Megalithus is the power of working together which causes the output of the people working as a team to increase more than equal when compared to the total of their output when they work separate from each other.

Lev 26:8 says, “And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight…”

Deu 32:30 says, “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight.”

By activating the lifting power of teamwork, ants build big mounts to store food in summer to survive the coming winter.

Pro 6:6-8 says, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.”

Pro 30:25 (BBE) says, “The ants are a people not strong, but they put by a store of food in the summer.”

The corporate lifting power of unity is so strong that when the Babylonians built the biggest skyscraper in human history called the Tower of Babel; God had to stop them by confusing their languages before they completed their project (Gen 11:1-9).

When believers unite they come under the corporate anointing and multi-lifting power is activated such that nothing will be impossible to them.

One believer being the weakest is stronger than David (being one with the Holy Ghost); and when all believers come together as the One Body of Christ, the church shall be as strong as God on earth!

Zec 12:8 says, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.”

The corporate lifting power was restored on earth since Babylon through the church when the one hundred and twenty believers who were united in prayer in the upper room received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Act 2:1-13).

From then on God began reversing the error of the Babel rebellion by the unity of faith in the Church. A minimum of two people only is required for corporate lifting power to be activated, and when there are three people it is unbreakable. Whatever two or three believers establish on earth is established in heaven, and cannot be undone.

Ecc 4:9-12 says, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

Mat 18:19-20 says, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

When Paul sang praises to the Lord in unity with Silas, they activated the corporate lifting power which shook the foundations of the prison, snapped open the gates, doors and chains by which they were bound.

Act 16:25-26 says, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.”

The early church experienced the corporate lifting power in their material possessions when they shared everything in common among themselves, resulting in 100% prosperity and total eradication of poverty.

They also experienced the corporate lifting power in signs, wonders and miracles performed by the team of apostles, in gaining the favour of all people, and a spontaneous daily increase in church membership.

Act 2:41-47 says, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

Act 4:32-35 says, “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.”

God wants to take the Church back to this unity and make use of the corporate lifting power. The children of Old Israel activated the corporate lifting power of the Holy Spirit under the leadership of Joshua when they shouted praise in harmony at the sound of the seventh trumpet.

The power destroyed the walls of Jericho, the most fortified city in history, whose walls were 6 feet thick on the outer, 12 feet thick on the inner, and they fell down flat without any use of machines (Jos 6).

When we all shout the same message of perfection under the leadership of Jesus Christ; we will see the fall and destruction of the fortified, mystery and new Babylon!

2. Umph - Energetic Power

The English word energy (umph) comes from the Greek ‘energia’ which means the ‘vigor or force of expression, operation, action or utterance.’

The term is derived from the Greek words "en" meaning "in" or "within," and "ergon" meaning "work" or "action."

In Greek philosophy, "energeia" referred to the actualization or realization of potential, and it was associated with the concept of active power or the capacity to bring about change.

In modern usage, energeia is commonly used to describe the ability to do work, the capacity to produce change or exert force, and the various forms and manifestations of energy in physics and everyday life.

It is the capacity and habit of persistent effort, the ability to produce an effect; or in other words, the power to do work possessed by a body or system of bodies.

The energy of God is His divine and internally empowering force which enables prayer to be effective.

Through divine energy, the Word of God penetrates the whole human, and searches his body and mind.

Jas 5:16 says, “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Heb 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful (Greek ‘energes’ - ‘energetic’), and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The first purpose of divine energy in the believer is to give him the mind of Christ through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

1Joh 2:27 says, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

The energy of the Holy Spirit convicts and activates the believer to share his/her faith and win souls.

Php 2:13 says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Energy is the boiling, exciting and refreshing power that activates all the other kinds of power which lie inactive within the believer.

It is the edifying power of God by which the Spirit-filled believer builds himself through speaking in tongues and singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs; in the same we recharge our phone batteries by linking to a power source.

1Co 14:4 says, “He that speaks with a tongue edifies himself; but he that prophesies edifies the assembly.”

Speaking in tongues and singing are the spiritual socket and charger by which we connect ourselves to the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

The energy of God is the power that Paul and Silas activated through singing praises, and shook the earth so much that Roman prison gates, doors and chains tying the prisoners snapped open.

If the battery of a phone being recharged gets full, it must be removed before it explodes since it cannot take any more power.

Equally, the believer who is being edified by God’s energy through speaking in tongues, meditation on God’s Word and/or singing praises unto the Lord must stop when he/she gets full or drunk of the Holy Spirit, before the anointing burns his/her heart to death since it cannot absorb any more energy.

Jer 20:9 says, “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”

When the energy of the Holy Spirit fills a believer, he gets drunk as one who drank  wine.

Act 2:15 says, “For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”

Eph 5:18 says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”

This kind of power goes up and down depending on the prayer life of the believer. To keep the fire of divine energy burning, one must pray nonstop.

The believer is commanded to pray without ceasing to keep the energy of the Holy operative and active in his/her body just as the priests were commanded to keep the fire burning in the temple.

Leviticus 6:12-13 (NIV) says, "The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out."

1Th 5:17,19 says, “Pray without ceasing... Quench not the Spirit.”

3. Potency - Ruling Power

Potency comes from the Greek ‘kratos’ which speaks of the ‘ruling, glorious, and explosive force which produces movement.’ Kratos carries the meaning of "power," "strength," or "dominion." It is often associated with the exercise of authority, control, or rule.

In ancient Greek, "kratos" referred to both physical and political power, as well as the concept of sovereignty.

The word "kratos" derives from the Greek verb "kratÄ“in," which means "to rule," "to have power," or "to prevail."

Col 1:11 says, “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”

Potency is the ‘dominion’ of the believer in Christ over the evil forces, and his influence over fellow men.

The potency of the Holy Spirit is the superior and explosive power of God that comes upon the believer when he/she is ordained into a public ministry leadership position/office through the laying on of hands by the elders of the church.

Act 8:17-18 says, “Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money.”

1Ti 4:14 says, “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.”

It is the self-announcing power that works in the miracle of resurrection.

Col 2:12-15 says, “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Potency is the influence by which the ordained minister of the gospel attracts attention, followership, and gets a positive response from the people he is ministering to.

In other words potency is the magnetic ‘power of attraction.’ It is the power behind large crowds that follow some preachers and singers.

Potency is also that power by which the ordained believer demonstrates miracles to reveal ‘the arm of the Lord’ when preaching the gospel.

Believers being ordained must have shown enough leadership qualities in wisdom, knowledge and character suitable to the office, for a long time.

Isa 53:1 says, “Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?”

Luk 1:51 says, “He hath shewed strength with his arm...”

The higher level of spiritual potency is demonstrated by anointing material medium on contact with one’s body, such as oil, water, cloth etc.

Act 19:11-12 says, “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

Potency does not increase or reduce based on one’s lifestyle, so someone may perform miracles while living a sinful life. For this reason, many mistake the display of potency as ‘divine approval’ for their sinful lifestyle.

The bible does not encourage the ordination of new inexperienced believers, who have not yet developed the character fit for leadership; for in pride, they will fall in the trap of sin.

They abuse the office and power of God which brings them into the blame of the devil, and brings disrepute to God and the church.

Rom 11:29 says, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

1Ti 3:6 says, “Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.”

The purpose of the demonstration of miracles is for the Word of God to gain influence over people.

Potency is the catapulting power by which the Word of God grows in influence, and gains ascendancy over a community which was previously dominated by human or demonic doctrines.

Act 19:20 says, “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”

It is the potency of the Holy Spirit activated by faith, which makes the believer to be firmly established in the power of God, and by which he is unmovable in Christ.

Eph 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

Psa 125:1 says, “…Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.”

By potency God gets honour forever.

1Ti 6:16 says, “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”

4. Pivot - Back up Power

A pivot is the hinge upon which the lever bar lies in balance as its back up. The English word ‘backup’ comes from the Greek ‘isychous’ which represents a divine muscular power that supports and backs up all of the power of God. Pivot is the refreshing backup power of the Holy Spirit by which the Christian mystically withstands hardship, penetrates and overcomes opposition. It is found in His presence.

Eph 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

2Th 1:9 says, “Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”

Backup power is the leverage of human ability in fulfilling one’s life-purpose.

Rev 18:2 says, “And he cried mightily…"

1Pe 4:11 says, “If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

Backup power is released by the ministry of angels sent of Father to strengthen us in times of severe opposition or when we are faced tough challenges ahead.

Mar 1:13 says, “And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.”

Heb 1:7,14 says, “And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire… Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

These angels usually appear in visions and dreams. The backup power of the Holy Spirit is activated by accepting God’s commissioning often during times of prayer and fasting in ministry unto the Lord. Backup power brings boldness and courage to the believer when he is witnessing the gospel in face of persecution, knowing that God is standing by in his corner, supporting him behind the scenes.

Act 4:31-33 says, “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.”

When one goes on a spiritual mission lacking God’s mandate, backup power will not be made available to support him when opposition rises. Angels are only released by God’s command in the words by which the believer is commissioned, so where God has not instructed them, they stand still.

Don’t be deceived by what you watch in most action movies, it is not real. Believers who operate ‘out of rank’ without God’s sanction through the church suffer the same fate with the soldier who goes alone to fight in battle without the instruction of his commander.

He will soon run out of supplies of food, drink, weapons and medical care; and is vulnerable to be killed or captured alive by the enemy. Many believers and ministers bring shame and scorn to the church by playing ‘lone ranger’ in ministry and by operating without a command from the Holy Spirit due to their rebellious and independent attitude, as they subject themselves vulnerable to destruction or ‘capture’ by satan and his agents.

Elijah received backup power through the ministry of an angel when he was fleeing from Jezebel (1Ki 19:1-8). Even the Lord Jesus Christ received backup power in His earthly ministry after an intense prayer session, as He was preparing Himself for the cross of Calvary.

Mat 4:11 says, “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.”

Luk 22:40-46 says, “And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.”

If the Lord Jesus needed backup in face of the three temptations of satan after His fast in the wilderness, and to face the challenge of being crucified to death in His flesh on the cross; then we definitely need backup to face our own ministry challenges today. Without fasting and intense prayer, the believer cannot activate enough backup power to enforce the will of God in the face of strong spiritual opposition (Dan 10:1-14 & Mat 17:14-21).

It is not just intense prayer and fasting, but praying according to God’s will and instruction; for the angelic backup is only released upon God’s instruction, else your fasting and prayers will be in vain. Many believers end themselves by over-fasting, forgetting that the goal of fasting is greater than fasting itself.

For this reason in our NJOE International community, we teach that our members should fast, pray and function in obedience to God’s instruction under His established authority in the local church assembly in order to activate and access the backup power of the Holy Spirit.

We condemn the breaking out of ranks and splitting of the church in rebellion by individuals who will not be submitted to authority. This should be avoided at all costs, and to this effect we have set in place, for all of our ministry workers, thorough biblical leadership teaching and training programs, testing processes, ordination procedures, and identification protocols; so that we may set the possible example of ministry practice to the rest of the church.

Backup power was given to Christ as His inheritance on behalf of the believer in the finished work of redemption.

Rev 5:12 says, “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”

Rev 7:12 says, “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.”

5. Openhandedness – Giving Power

The English word ‘openhandedness or giving’ comes from the Greek ‘didomi’ which indicates the force of love that constraints one to give or release a gift regardless of the pain, cost and loss involved in making the sacrifice of giving.

Didomi carries the meaning of "I give" or "to give" or "to place."

Joh 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Joh 6:37 says, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

Rom 5:18 says, “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

It is the supernatural grace by which we are compelled to share in all things with others sacrificially without holding ourselves back, and which helps us overcome all fears of insecurity associated with the making of the sacrifice.

Joh 6:38 says, “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”

Joh 17:7 says, “Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.”

2Co 5:14 says, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead.”

It is through the power of giving that God gave us His only begotten Son (at the time) for our salvation. By the giving power Christ gave up die in our place as a sacrificial lamb and atonement for our sin – this is the highest and unsurpassable demonstration of the love-driven power of giving.

Joh 15:13 says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

All manner of giving which is not driven by the ‘open-handed’ power of love is meaningless drama in the eyes of God.

1Co 13:3 says, “I may even give away all that I have and give up my body to be burned. But if I don't have love, none of these things will help me.”

Paul the apostle to the Gentiles demonstrated the highest level of the power of giving only secondary to the Lord Jesus Himself when he wrote to the church at Rome telling them that he was willing to be accursed (loose his personal salvation and be condemned to hell) if it could bring salvation to the Jews (Rom 9:1-3). What manner of love!

The seed of the giving power has been planted in every Spirit-filled believer, and it is cultivated and developed into fruit bearing power by intimate fellowship with God through prayer and studying scriptures; and by fellowship with brethren. God keeps us saved and glued to Himself by the giving power so much that nothing and no one can separate us from Him.

Rom 8:35-39 says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

All giving of money and/or material gifts in the Church should be voluntary and not forced or out of peer pressure, according to scriptures.

Ananias and Sapphira in the early church impulsively pledged what to give beyond their giving power, lied to the Holy Spirit speaking through the apostle Peter, and were struck by death (Act 5:1-11).

We condemn all teaching, preaching and practice of giving by force, for it is not only inconsistent with the scriptures and the heart of the Holy Spirit; but is also a cunning way of exploiting believers who are already in lack and need.

6. Resourcefulness - Creative Power

Resourcefulness or creativity comes from the Greek ‘archi’ which speaks of the divine ability to create visible, tangible and physical things from the invisible, intangible and spiritual nature of God.

Archi can refer to the beginning or origin of something. It is derived from the Greek word "archÄ“," which means "beginning" or "first." For example, in philosophy, "arche" is associated with the concept of the first cause or the ultimate principle from which everything else originates.

Archi can also denote rule, authority, or leadership. It is derived from the Greek word "archos," which means "ruler" or "leader." The term "archi" is often used as a prefix in words related to governance or leadership, such as "monarchy" (monarchia) and "oligarchy."

Archi can indicate something that is primary, chief, or principal. It can be used to describe a person who holds a prominent position or someone who is considered the highest-ranking member of a particular group or organization.

Archi can also convey the idea of a foundation or a fundamental principle. It is often used to refer to the underlying principles or rules that form the basis of a particular discipline or field of study.

Resourcefulness is the creative power of God as the ultimate principle from which everything else originates. Creativity is the divine ability by which the natural images and icons of the invisible realities of the divine nature of God are made.

Heb 1:10 says, “And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.”

Heb 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

Creativity is the one by which the physical universe (Greek ‘kosmos’) was made as the image and icon of the invisible universe who is the Spirit and Person of God (Greek ‘theos’), through the spoken universe (Greek ‘logos’).

Universe comes from Latin ‘universas’ (uni – one and versas – word) means ‘the one word.’ So, Theos is the invisible Word, Logos (from lego – to call) is the spoken Word, and kosmos is the manifested Word.

Gen 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Joh 1:1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”

Creativity is the power by which Jesus became flesh in the incarnation. It is the power by which the believer is recreated, regenerated and born again to become a new creation and child of God in the salvation experience.

Joh 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

2Co 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

The power of creativity is activated by the believer through meditation on the Word of God.

Jos 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Psa 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Jer 17:7-10 says, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

Meditation provokes the power of creativity right from where it starts as deep thoughts, whether positive or negative. This is why Jesus instructs us not to worry. Meditation activates creativity such that the life a person will drift towards his/her biggest thought.

Mat 6:25-27 (CEV) says, “I tell you not to worry about your life. Don't worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn't life more than food or clothing? Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren't you worth more than birds? Can worry make you live longer?”

Pro 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...”

The human heart has a limited capacity to carry thoughts, so when a person continues to meditate on something after his/her heart is full, the thoughts will spill out of the heart as spoken words through the gate of the mouth.

Speech is often the expression of the heart’s thoughts-overflow. Words that are spontaneously released through the mouth from the overflowing thoughts in the heart, are the ones that release creative power enough to bring that which was spoke of into material existence.

Through speech the believer creates and frames his world like his Father - God. The immature believer speaks irresponsibly like a child and creates problems for himself; but the mature believer speaks the healthy and prosperous order of the kingdom of God into existence.

Isa 33:14 says, “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”

Joe 3:10 says, “Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

1Co 13:11 says, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

The third and final stage at which creativity power is activated in the meditation process is action. You also have a limited carrying capacity of speaking words without taking action. When enough words have been spoken they provoke the speaker into spontaneous action in line what he/she has been saying. The actions of a believer that carry the power of creativity are those he/she does from the overflow of his/her spoken words.

By this power the works of the believer are bound to prosper. The physical universe has been programmed in such a way that when a man’s thoughts, words and deeds align with God’s purpose for his/her life; the physical universe will yield to that person all of its resources which are required for God’s purpose to materialize. This why meditation is such a central and key practice of all believers.

7. Touchiness - Dynamite Power

Touchiness is the dynamite power to witness the gospel which comes upon the believer through the infilling of the Holy Spirit. believers must wait until they are filled with the Holy Spirit and dynamite power before they can go on the mission of evangelism.

Act 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Luk 24:49 says, “And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

The Greek word for touchiness is ‘dunamis’ from where we get the English dynamite, and it means the miraculous force to make things happen.

Dunamis has a rich meaning and is often translated as "power," "ability," "strength," or "potential." It carries the connotation of inherent capability or capacity to perform an action or produce an effect.

Dunamis is derived from the Greek verb "dynamai," which means "to be able" or "to be strong" or "to have power."

In the New Testament of the Bible, "dunamis" is frequently used to describe the miraculous power or ability of God.

Explosive bombs as used in the blast and casting mines are called dynamites. Dynamite power is the explosive ability to cause changes which superimpose the mind of Christ in fortified regions, in complete disregard to the power of satan and his associates.

Dynamite power is what causes the church to explode in growth as many signs, wonders and miracles are performed; and it increases with further ordination into a greater office.

Touchiness is the power by which the kingdom of God is established in glory. It describes the manifold miraculous ability of the believer to fulfil his life-purpose.

Mat 6:13 says, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, band the glory, forever. Amen.”

Mat 25:15 says, “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.”

Dynamite power is also used to describe the miraculous works it produces.

Mat 7:22 says, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?”

Mat 11:20 says, “Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not.”

The purpose of producing mighty works with the dynamite power is prove the reality of Jesus and of his apostles in helping people to follow Christ.

Act 2:22 says, "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know.”

2Co 12:12 says, “Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.”

The dynamite power is in righteousness (the right hand of power), and works based on one’s lifestyle such that one may not access it in sin.

2Co 6:7 says, “By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand…”

Mat 26:64 says, “Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”

Normally touchiness is the anointing which is felt as heat or sensations in the right hand. It is the power that Jesus felt leaving his body when the sick touched him and got healed.

Mar 5:30 says, “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?”

Luk 5:17 says, “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.”

Luk 6:19 says, “And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.”

Touchiness comes upon a person who humbles himself under God’s mighty hand of righteousness. Believers should not accommodate pride, for God opposes the proud.

1Pe 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.”

Jas 4:6 says, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

The gospel of the finished works of Jesus is in itself the source of the dynamite power to the believer by which he experiences salvation.

Rom 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

Touchiness is the very power that overshadowed Mary in the conception of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ Himself is the dynamite power.

Luk 1:35 says, “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

1Co 1:24 says, “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”

One must know the scriptures to increasingly experience the dynamite power of God.

Mat 22:29 says, “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the POWER of God.”

The preaching of the finished works on the cross activates the dynamite power of God to perform miracles which validate the Gospel.

1Co 1:18 says, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

Act 4:33 says, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.”

Rom 15:19 says, “Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.”

Faith increases with the Word of God and activates the dynamite power of touchiness to the degree that faith has been generated.

Rom 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Act 6:8 says, “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.”

The dynamite power of God is what brings fame to the minister as the Gospel attracts people’s attention.

Luk 4:14 says, “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.”

The eternal dynamite power of God and the Gospel have been made manifest in the nature of creation such that no human has an excuse for not living up to their God-given life-purpose on earth.

Rom 1:20 says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

A person who has experienced the real power of touchiness cannot speak lightly or against Jesus Christ.

Mar 9:39 says, “But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.”

Preaching of the gospel must be done in the show of the Spirit’s mind and dynamite power.

1Co 2:4-5 says, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of POWER: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

1Co 4:19-20 says, “But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.”

Touchiness comes with the presence of the Holy Spirit and is submitted to His mind.

Luk 1:17 says, “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Touchiness cannot be produced from the flesh by human righteousness.

Act 3:12 says, “And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: "Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk?”

The dynamite power of the Holy Spirit works in line with authority, to enforce the legal will of God in line with one’s life-purpose.

Luk 4:36 says, _“And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! For with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

Luk 9:1 says, “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.”

Touchiness is the power by which the believer is filled with joy and peace in life.

Rom 15:13 says, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

The dynamite power of God is what strengthens the believer in his spirit and works within him to make available his inheritance in Christ.

Eph 1:19 says, “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.”

Eph 3:16 says, “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.”

Eph 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power  that worketh in us.”

Col 1:11 says, “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”

It is with the dynamite power that one’s spirit can travel to other places outside your by the Holy Spirit, and by which the dead are raised back to life.

1Co 5:4 says, “In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1Co 6:14 says, “And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.”

Php 3:10 says, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

The dynamite power of the Holy Spirit is the secret by which a believer can give selflessly even beyond his own level of provision.

2Co 8:2-3 says, “How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves.”

Touchiness is perfected in weakness, and the perfect spirit of the believer has been put in the weak fleshly body so that the excellence of the dynamite power may be pointed to God.

2Co 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

2Co 12:9 says, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

2Co 13:4 says, “For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.”
